Feed Extruders
Grain extruders are designed for processing whole grains into puffed air sticks or flakes. During the extrusion process, deep changes occur in the structure of the nutrients in the raw material: starch breaks down into simple sugars, proteins undergo denaturation, and anti-nutritional substances in legumes are deactivated. Harmful microorganisms are also destroyed. This means that the nutrients in the feed become much more accessible. At the same time, amino acids and vitamins remain intact due to the short duration of the process, which facilitates 90% absorption in the animals' bodies.
