EGK-20 Extruder is a compact and economical machine designed for thermomechanical processing of grain and other plant-based raw materials using extrusion technology. It is an optimal solution for small farms, small-scale production facilities, and users who are starting their own production of extruded grain products.

Operating Principle

During the extrusion process, the raw material is simultaneously ground, compressed, and briefly exposed to high temperature and pressure. As the material exits the working chamber, the pressure drops rapidly, causing it to expand and form a light, porous structure in the shape of tubes or sticks.

This process improves the technological properties of the raw material, increases starch digestibility, and helps reduce the level of undesirable microorganisms.
