If you need to crack nuts quickly but can’t afford to buy an industrial nutcracker, then the GRK 50 from FermX is the right choice. The main advantages of this device are its simple design, ease of use, quick adjustment, and the ability to install it in different containers in any room.

As a drive, an electric drill or a screwdriver with adjustable rotation speed is suitable, since the optimal speed is 20–50 rpm. The design also allows the connection of an electric motor with a gearbox as a drive.

After adjusting the clearance with the wing bolt on the nutcracker body, the drive can be turned on to fill the hopper with nuts, preferably sorted by size.

Proper adjustment of the gap between the shaft and the wall affects both the work efficiency and the quality of the final product, which results in approximately 60% whole halves.

The nutcracker can process both hazelnuts and walnuts, with a productivity of about 50 kg/h.
