The FermX GKM-100 feed pellet mill is designed for producing high-quality pelleted feed for chickens, broilers, pigs, rabbits, quails, cattle, horses, fish, and other farm animals.

Pellets are produced by mechanically compressing loose feed materials such as bran, oil cake, grain mixtures, and grain-processing by-products. Their high density allows animals and poultry to consume more nutrients in a smaller volume of feed, improving feeding efficiency and nutrient intake.

Pellets produced with the FermX GKM-100 have a uniform shape, size, and composition. This ensures balanced nutrition regardless of an animal’s age, condition, or feeding behaviour. Animals cannot selectively consume individual ingredients, so every pellet provides an even distribution of nutrients.

Pelleted feed also has a lower moisture content than many loose feed mixtures, which can support longer storage while helping preserve feed quality. In-house pellet production can significantly reduce feeding costs compared with purchasing ready-made feed. It also allows farmers to create custom feed mixtures tailored to the nutritional requirements of particular animal species and age groups.

The machine uses interchangeable dies with hole diameters ranging from 2 to 6 mm, allowing the production of pellets in different sizes.

Operating Principle

A 1,500 rpm electric motor drives the die through pulleys and a shaft transmission. Press rollers force the prepared feed material through the die openings, forming compact and uniform pellets.

The machine is equipped with interchangeable dies that produce pellets with diameters ranging from 2 to 6 mm.
