Product Description
The FermX ROTEX-100 feed pellet machine is a compact and efficient device designed for the production of pelleted animal feed in household, agricultural, or workshop conditions in Austria. The pellet machine allows processing of raw materials such as wheat bran, grain mixtures, and grain by-products, making it suitable for producing feed for farm animals, poultry, and fish. The machine is equipped with a die featuring radial holes, allowing the pellet size to be adjusted according to specific livestock requirements and feeding purposes.

Scope of Delivery
The delivery set includes the FermX ROTEX-100 pellet machine, an operating manual, and a die removal tool required for maintenance and replacement.

Pellet Production Process
Raw material, such as bran, is loaded into the feeding hopper. The motor operating at 1500 rpm rotates the die through a belt and shaft transmission system. Rollers press the feed material through the die openings, forming dense pellets. The formed pellets are cut by a knife and discharged from the working chamber, after which the finished pellets fall into a container or onto a working surface.

Pelletized feed ensures balanced nutrition by supplying animals with essential nutrients, vitamins, and amino acids in optimal proportions. The high temperature generated during the pelleting process limits the development of harmful microorganisms affecting the digestive system. The pellet machine is equipped with a single-sided die made of high-alloy hardened steel with selectable hole diameters from 2 to 6 mm. Motor power is 1.5 kW (380–400 V) or 2.2 kW (220–240 V) with a rotation speed of 1500 rpm. Using interchangeable dies, pellets with diameters from 2 to 6 mm can be produced. Productivity reaches up to 40 kg of pellets per hour. Roller diameter is 60 mm, roller width is 22.5 mm, and die diameter is 100 mm.
