Matrices are divided into movable and fixed, pellet matrix and feed matrix. Movable molds have an internal countersink hole, while fixed molds have an external countersink hole. The linings of feed and pellet molds have different depths and funnel angles (reference: a funnel is a conical part of a hole in a mold). This means that the countersink hole is located both above and below. We can also make custom molds according to the customer's drawings and samples.

Thanks to our many years of experience in making molds, our products are always of high quality, which is confirmed by the positive feedback from our customers. All substrates are made of alloyed steel, which greatly increases wear resistance. Heat treatment, especially bulk hardening, is an integral part of the mold-making cycle. The last step in the mold-making process is to check the hardness level. This is perhaps one of the most important manufacturing processes, as the hardness of a mold is directly proportional to its durability. This check is carried out by the quality control department according to the Rockwell method using special equipment. This is a non-destructive test method in which a hard tip, known as an indenter, is inserted into the material under test and the penetration depth is measured while applying the same load for each hardness level.
