The final step in production is the hardness testing, as it directly affects the durability of the mold. This test is conducted by the quality control department using the Rockwell method and specialized equipment. It is a non-destructive testing method, where the indenter is inserted into the material, and the depth of penetration is measured under a constant load for each hardness level.
